From humble beginnings, having one store at 51 Bree St in Fordsburg, that is where the roots of Mistrys Furnishers started. 51 Bree St was initially a factory making kitchen tables, chairs, wedding trunks, and kitchen dressers for wholesale trade to clients in the Eastern Transvaal. Over the years the focus changed to retail pine furniture, which became popular with the general public. The range of furniture started increasing and adjusting rapidly to accommodate modern times. All furniture can be bought raw for staining by the customer, or the customer can choose a professional finish he or she requires for the home or business.
